'Experience is the most overrated virtue': Rahul Garg, CEO, Moglix
The Proust Questionnaire is a questionnaire about one’s personality. It has its origins in a parlour game popularised by Marcel Proust, the French writer, who believed that, in answering these questions, an individual reveals his or her true nature.
Rahul Garg, Founder and CEO, Moglix, is a tech enthusiast with extensive experience in Strategy, Product Management, and Operations in the technology industry. Prior to founding Moglix in April 2015, Rahul, who is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and of India School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad, was the Head of Advertising & Strategy at Google Asia. Rahul is also an investor having invested in more than seven start-up ventures that have a global presence. He holds 16 US patents in the domain of product management and technology. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A vacation with family.
What is your greatest fear?
The fear of not being able to live up to responsibilities.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I can be pushy at times.

Laziness and not being innovative.

None. I am very frugal.

Excited and nervous.

Experience.

I don’t need to lie.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
Nothing. Appearances are deceptive.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
Qualities are independent of gender. I like men who are hardworking, fearless, candid and innovative.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
I believe that qualities are independent of gender.

My admission into IIT Kanpur – it was very special for me.

Losing someone who is close to you.

I enjoy reading only about technology – IEE, and research journals.

Laziness.
