Manikanth Challa
Manikanth Challa, the CEO of Workruit, is a solution-oriented entrepreneur who believes in understanding the minute details of challenges faced by society and accordingly processing them to provide a robust and well-planned solution. His brainchild Workruit is an AI-powered recruitment platform based on an interactive dating app-like interface, where finding talent and jobs are done by swiping the profiles to choose the right match. The concept behind Workruit has been creating ripples across the country, owing to its effective functionality. Governments across India are exploring the ways of incorporating the concept of Workruit in digitizing their employment platforms for geographies. The Government of Telangana has already collaborated with Workruit and developed Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana, a platform to cater to the employment process in the state.
Before Workruit, he worked with several start-ups like Dil Mil, Interplay Ventures, Trusto, LotusFlare, RevSquare, Founder Shield, Nomad Financial, and primarily with the Founders of the ventures with a closed quarter experience and birds-eye view on the vision and objective.
Manikanth Challa pursued his under graduation in Information Science Technology in the United States from the prestigious Pennsylvania State University. Along with having IT as his major, he chose a minor in theatre, which provided him with the scope to be more practical and realistic on dealing with his professional and personal life.
He believes that one can achieve the desired goals with patience and focus. His most significant strength is his ability to concentrate and sheer respect towards his profession. He says, “As long as you love what you do, and it’s something that you believe in, focus and determination will lead you to success.” His background in design further enables him to understand and see things from a creative perspective, providing a significant lift in decision-making.
Manikanth has received numerous honours and awards, including the BW Businessworld Young Entrepreneur Award 2020 and the Vysya Hostel Trust Board Young Entrepreneur Award 2020.
