Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who held a review meeting with ministers and officials, decided to announce the policy on June 7 in the presence of several industrialists, MNC representatives and other representatives of industry, a release issued by the chief minister's office said today.

As per the new industrial policy, the government would also provide land, water and electricity to industries. Noting that 1,60,000 acres of land have been allotted to the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Rao said land would be allotted through the corporation.

According to PTI, the new policy would end delay in issuing permissions to set up enterprises and applications can be put up online, he said. A cell in the CM's office would go through applications, meet applicants and process them, Rao said.
