Customers who register with Naaptol.com get 100 points right away, shoppers also earn 1% of the total billing amount as reward points, customers can earn 1% on the first order placed by friends whom they have referred to Naaptol.com, shoppers will also be credited with 20 points for personal reviews posted by them on the desired product through the registered account and posting a question or answering an already posted question will make shoppers earn 10 points for each action.

Naaptol currently has a 1 million customer base, which is growing at 30-40% YOY, says Sachin Singhal, business head, E-Commerce at Naaptol. The products that sell the most on site include home utilities in electronics, home & kitchen, home improvement, women apparel and jewellery among others. More than 50% of its customer base comes from Tier 2-3 cities, who shop at the site for products not easily available in the neighbourhood.

Sachin says the Naaptol Rewards programme is their way to thank customers for their patronage, usage and loyalty. Besides the rewards program, Naaptol is also engaging customers through programs like sweepstakes, gift certificates and other user oriented schemes.
