Bangalore based Nanobi Data and Analytics wins Microsoft's BizSpark 2013

Microsoft's 10 city wide hunt for promising product startups as part of their annual challenge BizSpark came to a fitting end at Bangalore, where Nanobi Data and Analytics, from the same city was adjudged the winner. Winners from all 10 cities had come to Bangalore to compete with each other for winning the grand prize, which included $70,000 in cash and $2 million in product offering, an XBOX 360, a Dell laptop and a branding package.

Nanobi Data and Analytics works to provide data analytics products and solution. Their standalone product is a business intelligence platform aimed at solutions designers and business users in enterprise. Some of their solutions are available on the cloud (click here to see all) and they also work with companies for business solutions.

FIRST RUNNER-UP

The first runner up was IntelloCut, which is a software which "measures, predicts and optimizes material utilization and productivity for sewn products industry". With offices in Bangalore and Delhi, IntelloCut works only in the product space, the software claims to saves upto 10% material, improves cutting productivity by 30% and reduces end bits by 70% in the practical scenarios.

SECOND RUNNER-UP

The second runner up was Trutech Webs developers of The Fluid Motion - A gesture recognition platform, that allows you to fully control your computer via hand gestures with no external devices. The Fluid Motion platform is compatible with any hardware including TV, laptops, and projectors with your hands only. So you can skim through PowerPoint presentations, navigate through Google maps, switch between windows, explore a 3-D image or surf the internet solely using your hands!

Apart from this, all the runner ups were winners from the 10 cities that Microsoft toured as a part of BizSpark. They are -
